Northern Pike
Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass
Aggressive, hard-fighting predators that roam our weedy bays and shallow shelves. Spring and fall offer the best chance at trophy-size fish, with steady action throughout the summer.
Abundant along rocky shorelines, points, and island structures. Excellent topwater and jigging bites from late June through early fall – perfect for casting from the boat or working the shoreline.
Lake Trout
Yellow Perch
Deep-water specialists that hold over the colder basins of Lac Heney. Best targeted in spring and late fall when they move higher in the water column for vertical jigging or trolling.
A family favourite – fun, consistent action and great eating. Ideal for kids and relaxed evenings, with fish available from dock, shore, or boat for most of the open-water season.

Fishing Licences (Pêche Québec)
Get Your Licence Online (Recommended)
Before casting a line, all guests aged 18–64 require a valid Québec Fishing Licence (Pêche Québec).
Getting one is fast and simple — either online before you arrive or in person at locations near the cottages.
