🛣️ Recommended Driving Routes
While your GPS will work fine, here are the most common routes for our U.S. guests:
From Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio
Take:
I-81 N → cross at 1000 Islands Bridge → Highway 416 → Ottawa → Highway 105 North → Gracefield → Chemin Whitefish
This is the smoothest, fastest, and most scenic route.
From New York
Take:
I-87 N → cross at Cornwall / Massena or Champlain → Highway 50 → Highway 105 North → Gracefield

FISHING LICENCES
Before casting a line, all guests aged 18–64 require a valid Québec Fishing Licence (Pêche Québec).
Getting one is fast and simple — either online before you arrive or in person at locations near the cottages.

- Local businesses use CAD (Canadian Dollars)
- Credit cards widely accepted (Visa, Mastercard)
- We recommend carrying $40–$60 CAD for small roadside shops or gas stations
Language
Quebec is French-speaking, but:

✔ Most stores, gas stations, and restaurants in Gracefield are bilingual
